- Part 1: Our training starts with the online classroom, completed at your home, on your schedule.
- Part 2: Then in person classroom at Capilano University on Tuesday Evening.
- Part 3: Choose a 1st Gear Training Lot location of your choice.
Motorcycle Gear & Motorcycles
You’ll need this! These are our biggest supporters.
What motorcycle gear should you buy? It should be tight fitting, light or brighter colours with vents to keep you cool in hotter weather. Why not black gear? It is the hottest to wear in summer, black absorbs the heat from the sun. You are also less visible.
What kind of motorcycle should you buy? Wait until you take a motorcycle course before buying one. Can’t wait? Go for a motorcycle that is 0-5 years old with less than 10,000kms on it. This doesn’t mean the rest of the motorcycles out there are bad. Buying something newer with lower kms gives the new rider potentially less to worry about.
