If you are already a certified motorcycle instructor with ICBC. Great.
If not you will need to contact ICBC to get an instructor application package. This is a short application which also includes and police background check and health check from your doctor.

1st Gear is hiring for these positions
- Classroom teaching (teach 5-25 students in a classroom environment)
- Road Riding (take new riders out onto the road)
- Training Lot instructing (teaching students how to ride motorcycles in our parking lots)
Hours
- 10-30 hours per week. Seasonal work. Very busy between April and August. Less busy between September to March.
Compensation
- $30/hr – AO status (MSA)
- $28/hr – Regular instructors
Do you have an existing contract with another school preventing you from working elsewhere? We can help with that.
